I’ve been slow to post, but at lot has been going on with Dreamland. (Please check out the Dreamland Discord for the most updated information and conversations.)
For one thing, with the help of our wonderful volunteer Dream Masters, we’ve been running lots of games online and at conventions! I don’t normally do an entire blog post about demo games, but for GenCon Online 2023, we’re excited to be running no less than SEVEN games! This includes two adventures by me (Jason Thompson) and four adventures by the awesome Ronny Elor (one using material from one of Dreamland’s other TBA contributing writers).
You can sign up for each game individually at the links below. These games are also at a variety of times, which might make them better for players outside the USA, compared to our usual late-night PST demo games.
The Paradise of the Unchanging: To save the city of Olathöe, a group of dreamers must go into the unknown. (Thursday, August 3, 1:00 PM EDT)
Necromancy on Mount Aphasia: Work as a vampire’s familiar to retrieve the body of an executed hero from a cursed kingdom at the top of a mountain. (This game will be run twice: Friday, August 4, 12:00PM EDT AND Saturday, August 5, 2023 8:00 PM EDT)
Party Planning at the Isles of Gasps: Explore the Islands of the Devils to collect everything you need to throw an epic boat party for eccentric royals. (Friday, August 4, 2023 8:00 PM EDT)
Spiders and Knife Murder Mystery: Investigate the peculiar murder of a scholar found covered in bug bites to discover the truth of what really happened. (Saturday, August 5, 2023 12:00 PM EDT)
The Palace of Memories: A curse has stolen the memories of the people of Astrakhan! Can you end the plague of amnesia? (NOTE: Unfortunately, the game was canceled due to a sudden life event. The other GenCon Online games are unchanged.)
A Golden Earache in Dreamland: Search for a missing princess cursed with gold growing out of her ears. (Sunday, August 6, 2023 10:00 AM EDT)
